This week:
School is picking up pace
Biking back and forth to school is fun
The Hawkeyes started the football season!

Well it has been a pretty busy week. Organic Chemistry Lab is not letting up and I don't think it will. On Tuesday there was a U of I cycling club meeting. That was a lot of fun seeing everyone again. We have another one this Tuesday. Mostly the rest of the week was filled with going to class and a little bit of work. Julie was asking me why I didn't update this. I told her because all I would have to write about was studying!! I guess I can write a little bit about the cat. If anyone cares Mietzie (sp?) is doing fine. She really doesn't come inside much during the summer. She really loves it outside catching all sorts of wild animals (yah!). When she comes inside, she is usually hungary or tired. Solution: My dad feeds her (big suprise) or she sleeps in the loft bed.
I am really enjoying biking to class these days. I really enjoy riding around and it saves gas! Last time I checked gas is $3.09. OUCH! I don't know what it is up Madison, but it is probably more. I am really glad I am not paying for that and I also am glad I'm getting exercise. I get a little work playing with my camera on the way to class.
On Friday my dad and I drove to the City High football game in Cedar Rapids. I am helping out a little bit on the sideline this year again trying to figure out what formation the other team is going to come out in. City won easily against Cedar Rapids Jefferson. It was about 34-7 I believe. The team should be pretty good this year.

On Saturday I met John at 8:30 and we biked to the Iowa game. Bike to the game = best decision ever. We didn't have to mess with parking and we didn't have to have someone pick us up. We met Gary, Judy, Julie and Scott near Kinnick Stadium. We did a little bit of eating and went into the game.Iowa beat Ball State 56-0. It wasn't much of a game and it was a little hot. Next week is against Iowa State and it should be a good game. I really want to see the Hawks beat up on the clones just to prove to the ISU fans that they are still little brother.

On Sunday I got up around 7:45 and met a member of the cycling club at 8:30 to go on a bike ride. We rode out Sugar Bottom Road. That is the usual ride around Iowa City. It actually takes you out to Solon if you want to go there. Tomorrow I am planning on riding with a lot more people. There is supposed to be a ride going on. I haven't heard much yet, but the club is a little unorganized sometimes.

Right now I need to quit wasting time and read some O Chem and Physics. I need to also write a paper this weekend and study for an Anatomy quiz. Lots of work ahead so I better get working. My parents are coming back from Mt. Pleasant today. They are doing some work for my grandma Hill.
