What a busy weekend and week to come. I had a O Chem Lab report due on Monday and I have two tests this week! So you can understand that my weekend consisted of studying.

Last week John, Blake, and I had our first flag football game. We won and it was a lot of fun. I have one again tonight, which is something to look forward to. The rest of the week was pretty normal: go to class, go to work, friday football game. The game was a lot of fun the varsity team is now 3-0 after mauling Cedar Rapids Xavier. City looks really good this year and probably won't get beat during the regular season.

On Saturday, John, my mom, my dad, and I all biked to the Iowa-UNI game. That was a blast and I think John is thinking about buying a nicer bike now to ride around. That would be great because it is always fun to have someone to bike around with. We took the normal route to the game and my mom really enjoyed it because there weren't many cars. It is really the perfect way to go to the games. I would do it no other way now. I turned around a took this picture on the ride. My dad wore his true colors (purple and gold) to the game, haha! They had to dress up in order to sit in the press box. They were up there with hawkeye royalty though, Ed Podalak, Dick Jacobsen, and of course Russ Gerdin.

On Sunday I went on the usual bike ride at 8:30 in the morning. About 7 of us rode to West Branch. It was quite the happenin' time. A great time was had by all. John, Julie, and I are still contemplating going up to the Iowa-Wisconsin game in Madison. It looks as though I would be able to go. I might see if I could get off work and leave early. It would be an awesome time I'm sure.

Well it is off to physics discussion and then flag football!
