Well it is currently a few hours before daylight savings time. Time to fall back. That means an extra hour of sleep! Who isn't excited? I just wrote the majority of my lab report that is due this week for organic chemistry lab. It involved a Grignard Reaction. It is a process that creates carbon-carbon bonds, which is always special in organic chemistry. It also gives organic chemists their jollies! I am actually excited for next week's lab though because we are investigating an unknown compound using various methods. It sounds sort of interested and it is sort of like solving a puzzle.

I haven't written on here a lot lately. I know, I'm sorry. Julie and Ben have both reminded me nicely that they enjoy reading this, so I have to keep up on it. Speaking of those two, we are going to have a good old fashion get together soon up in Madison. As of now John, Julie, and I are going to head up there for the Iowa vs. Wisconsin football game, which takes place November 12th. It should be loads of fun. We probably won't be able to actually go to the game thanks to the overwhelming price of tickets, but we might have to hit up State Street or Gopher Crossing. I can't wait to get up there. It will be nice taking a break from school.

Well ever since our beloved Mitzie passed away a few weekends ago, we have been blessed by the presence of another cat! You guessed it, the one who used to terrorize Mitzie, Angel! She doesn't come by often and I think she has only been in the house once or twice. I truly believe that she misses Mitzie though. She is probably bored. I guess Angel has met my dad outside in the morning before he goes to work. He feeds her usually (no wonder she's hanging around). Cats just seem to love our house for some unknown reason, hmmm;)

Well I have a little bit of my lab report to finish tomorrow along with pre-labs for o chem and physics. I also have to study for a test in anatomy. It is over the nervous system and the endocrine system, I believe.
