It's been a little while since I've updated the blog. I just finished an anatomy final and I'm sitting around getting ready to start studying for health for living and organic chemistry. I'm extremely excited because I think I am going to get a 4.0 GPA this semester. I have never done that at the University of Iowa and it is supposively my "hardest" semester. I am taking the most semester hours I've ever taken and I have the organic chemistry lab. Yesterday I figured out that I received an A in organic chemsitry lab, which I didn't think would happen. That lines me up for the 4.0! People keep asking me why I am trying so hard to do well this semester since I'm already in dental school. My reasoning is simple: I want to pay the least amount of money possible. That means I need to get scholarships. The scholarships are based on GPA and DAT (dental admissions test) scores. My DAT scores are high enough, but my GPA is right around the average GPA for incoming dental students. It will definitely go up this semester. Well, I am almost done with finals week. I only have two left then breaktime!
