Well it was a fun holiday. Everything went pretty well. On Friday Ben and Jane came to Iowa City from Madison. They got here that night and we went out to Bob's Your Uncle for something to eat. Afterwards, we headed to Paul's Discount (one of Ben's favorites) to look around. I found some really cool Merrell shoes and I bought them. After that we went home and talked to my parents, who had just returned from Mt. Pleasant where they were working on my Grandma Hill's house. Jane wanted to go out for margaritas somewhere, but no one else was up for it. Maybe some other time.

On Saturday my mom and Jane went to Mt. Pleasant to work more on Grandma Hill's house. Ben and I woke up and bought a piece that attached his computer to his aero bars on his bike. After that we met my dad at El Ranchero's for lunch. It was excellent as always! Next, we went on a bike ride since Ben had his bike and the weather was fairly decent. We rode about 20 miles, which wasn't a whole lot, but considering the weather and the fact that it is December it was pretty good.

Sunday we went to Mt. Pleasant to celebrate Christmas with much of the family. It was a grand ole time. Ben and I helped set up Gary's new satillite radio and Julie and Scott's new iPods. The get together consisted of Grandma Jean, my mom, my dad, Jane, Ben, Gary, Scott, Julie, Judy, Charlie, Shirley, and me. Later that night we celebrated with my dad's family. It was fun to see my uncle, aunt, and cousins from Denver there. I also was able to play some Euchre, which is always a blast.
On Monday, my mom and I ran some errands. We stopped at the really cool store downtown Iowa City called Akar. We looked at the really cool sliding doors that can cover closets. We might make them for my room downstairs. They are actually made out of a hard plastic and glide on barn door tracks. Extremely modern and extremely cool! While we were there, I bought a really cool radio that I can plug my iPod into and play the songs on it.

Tonight (Wednesday) I figured out that the new Room and Board catalog is out, which means new furniture! There is some really cool new stuff on there, which I am totally excited about.

We are anxiously awaiting Magnus and Elisabeth's arrival. We have a tentative schedule ready. I'm hoping to go to Chicago sometime during the visit. There is a lot to do there and is always a lot of fun.
