It is Monday and I have the day off. Classes have not started yet and I didn't have to work anywhere today. I went on a bike ride this morning. I rode around on the trail and a little on Dubuque Street out to the Res. I got 23 miles in, which is totally awesome for this time of the year. Right now, I'm about to look at these really cool books we picked up from the library yesterday. They are books that display modern style housing. They are extremely cool and I could easily live in any of them. My favorite book is called, "25 Houses Under 1500 Square Feet." That is exactly how I would want a house someday. I don't like houses that are too big. I love ones that are wide open with straight lines and unique aspects that you don't see in normal houses around the area. Hopefully I will be able to build something like it someday. Here's the link: http://www.harperacademic.com/catalog/book_xml.asp?isbn=0060745061

On a little side note, I went to Fin and Feather with Magnus and Elisabet and I saw this girl I knew from high school. She is someone I would like to get to know better, even as a friend. She is extremely smart and loves the outdoors, two things that I don't mind one bit.

The other day my mom and I rented "Garden State." It was an amazing movie that I seem to keep thinking about. It was funny, intellectual, and just an overall good movie. In a certain way it reminded me of my own life because the main character comes back home and finds all his friends have parted in different directions that may not be the best. Also, Natalie Portman is in the movie and is extremely gorgeous and hilarious. She has some very funny lines that keep replaying in my mind and make me laugh out loud.
