Magnus and Elisabet are back home in Sweden and things are starting to slow down again in IC. It was really awesome having them here. Everything we did was extremely fun and it was great to have most of the family together. Their visit has motivated me to visit Sweden this summer. I think Julie and I will be heading over there, maybe in June. I am trying to persuade my grandma to go along, but I'm not sure that will happen. From what I understand there is a very fun bike ride over there in June. It looks like a lot of fun and about 186 miles long. Also, Julie pointed out that it is extremely cheap to travel to other countries once you are over there. I would like to make it to Germany. I am pretty excited to get over there. This may be the last chance I have to get over there because dental school demands a lot of time.
Well, Julie is now student teaching and it sounds like an exciting time. She seems very enthusiastic about the whole situation and a little nervous. I would feel the same way! No matter what, I know she will make a great teacher.
Over the weekend I went with Kaela and her parents to the Iowa vs. Oklahoma State wrestling meet. It was extremely exciting. It was probably the loudest I had ever heard Carver Hawkeye Arena. The Hawks ended up losing, but they were only one match away from winning the meet. If they would have won, it would have been a major upset. By the end of the season this team will make a run at the national title.
This week my mom and I are headed to Chicago with Randy, Cheryl, and Kari to look for furniture. It should be a blast because we are planning to go to Wisconsin afterwards. My mom and I are planning on going to Jane's. I also need to buy new running shoes. Looks like a stop to the Shoe Box will be a part of the itinerary.
