Sorry I haven't updated in awhile. I've been a little busy with school and everything else. School isn't taking up as much time this semester as it did last semester. This is really nice and I am not complaining.

Last night I bought my ticket to Sweden. I am flying there on May 29th and coming back on June 19th. I will be there for three weeks! I really can't wait because it should be a lot of fun and a great experience. While I am there, I am hoping to meet a lot of relatives that I have never met before and see a new place that I have never been to. While I am there, I am going to ride in a bike ride called Vätternrundan. It is a ride around a large lake. It is 300 kilometers (appox. 180 miles) all in one day! I am riding a lot now to get in shape. It sounds like a really fun and challenging ride. If you are interested the website is: http://www.vaetternrundan.se/default.aspx?lang=1.

I am thinking about visiting other European countries while I am over there. It is really cheap to get flights to other countries. I have to opportunity to go to Paris, Venice, Frankfurt, and many other places if I chose to.

Today I took the driving test required to drive the Maxivans in the U of I Motor Pool. It was pretty exciting. It was the first time I'd ever gotten to drive one of those massive things! The cycling club usually take these types of vans to the cycling races in the spring. Now that I am certified to drive them, I will be able to help drive to Kansas, Nebraska, and maybe Minnesota. The first race is coming up soon in Manhatten, Kansas. It is the weekend right after spring break.

Tonight at 9 I am going to a cycling club meeting where we are going to watch a couple of taped Tour of California stages. It should be a lot of fun because I really enjoy watching these races. I can't wait for the Tour de France to roll around so I can watch it!
