What a fun weekend. It started off Friday with a ride south to Lone Tree. Steve, Jesse, Branden, Mike, and I headed there with a strong wind in our face. In other words, the ride on the way back was absolutely fabulous. It was a really fast loop because we had some pretty strong riders in the group. It was the fastest that I had ever done that ride.

On Saturday, I woke up early and rode to North Liberty and back. It was a short recovery ride by myself. At around 10 a.m. I picked up my co-worker Sarah and we headed to Des Moines for some shopping at the Jordan Creek Mall. It was a lot of fun. Sarah is really fun to hang around with because she has a lot of the same interests that I do. It was a great time. We should go again sometime.

I went on another ride Sunday. The group consisted of me, Brian, Matt, John, Dave, and Lindsay. We rode the Sugar Bottom loop with a detour on the MacBride Nature center entrance and the sugar bottom mountain biking trail head. There were some big hills back there. It was a fairly tough ride that left me pretty stiff today. On the way back to IC it started raining pretty hard on us. It would have not been so bad if it was hotter than 45 degrees out.
