It's been a long time since I updated the blog. I didn't get a chance to do it while I was in Sweden because it was a very busy time. While I was there, I had a blast. I got to meet so many people and I got to visit many interesting sites. Some highlights: I really enjoyed biking around Uppsala with Magnus and Elisabet. I could definitely live there. Meeting everyone in all the stories I hear from my mom, Jane, and grandma at Jan and Lena's. All of you are always welcome here in the U.S! It was awesome going up in the City Hall tower with Daniel. I keep telling everyone that they need to do this. Going to Ellis and May Britt's to meet my grandma's cousin and try all sorts of amazing food. And last, but not least, the amazing bike ride that I would consider the ride of a lifetime.

I would really like to come back sometime because I enjoyed everything that I did and I'm sure that there are so many more things to do! Thank you so much for letting me stay and for all the things that you did for me. I look forward to seeing you all again soon!

Today in Iowa City it is raining. I have Monday's off from work so I try to go on a bike ride, but I don't know if that is possible. At 2 p.m. I am supposed to meet my boss and other coworkers at the Coralville Lake for a boat ride and some waterskiing, but it is a little chilly and it is supposed to storm.

Next weekend I am really sure that I am going to Madison to see a fireworks display on Saturday night. I went to it last year and it was a lot of fun, so I can't wait. I could stay until Tuesday if I wanted to. We'll see how it goes. Well I better get up and start moving around, even though I don't know what I'm going to do since it is raining.

This is me at the site of Bertil's new house he is building on the Baltic Sea. I definitely wouldn't mind living there!
