This weekend in Madison/Cross Plains has been great. I got here on Friday night and met Bucky, Jane, Ben, and Jill at Shelton's:

On Saturday morning, Sarah from work met me here and we went downtown Madison to check out the Farmer's Market and a few of the shops on State Street. We ate at Noodle's and Company, which was delicious as always. That night we played a Swedish game called Kubb back at Jane's house.

Sunday, Sarah and I woke up and drove to Blue Mound State Park to do a little hiking. It was a really nice place that had many hiking trails along with a few mountain biking trails. It made me want to get a mountain bike. I just haven't got around to it. Some of the views were awesome:

That night Ben, Jill, Jill's sister Jenny, and I went downtown to the University of Wisconsin Memorial Union to watch Rhythm and Booms. It was more fun to watch at the ballpark, but it was still a grand ol' time:

This morning I took Ben's single speed downtown to ride it around a little bit. Madison is a nice biking town. Many bike lanes on the roads that are separated from the car lanes and many bike trails. I also rode out to picnic point on Lake Mendota:
