Tonight, my dad and I biked downtown to meet my mom and Ethel at The Pit for supper. It is a BBQ joint. I had the chicken sandwich, cornbread, and a black cherry soda that was on tap. I hadn't eaten there before, but it was pretty good.

After that we went to the Ped Mall to watch and listen to The Mike and Amy Finders Band. They were this Friday's edition of the Friday Night Concert Series. They are a bluegrass band that could really play. I really liked it. It is the second one I've been to this summer. They are free and usually a lot of fun. There is a plethora of musical talent around the Iowa City area. It is really a good idea to take advantage of these concerts (especially since they're free!).

RAGBRAI is coming a week from tomorrow. My dad and I will be loading a bus in Cedar Rapids to drive across the state with Team Sprint. Maybe it will cool off by then. It is supposed to be 99 degrees Fahrenheit in IC tomorrow!
