Just got done with a Pain and Anesthesia test this morning and had a little free time. We don't have class until 1, so I'm trying to waste a little time. Evan and I had an eventful weekend. It was a great weekend to get out and ride bikes! We ended up getting in 100 miles of road riding Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Not bad for the first weekend of the season for me. We also had some bad news. I don't think we got picked in the lottery for the Fat Tire Festival. Bummer. I really wanted to go, but I guess it is really tough to get in. Coming up soon is the Old Capital Criterium in Iowa City. It may be the first time in a long time that I'm actually in Iowa City to see the race. I've missed it the past few years going to fun places like Madison. This year I should be around. I don't think I will ride, but I really want to go watch. Word has it that this year the NCCCC is having their conference championships at the event. Should be a big deal. Too bad I'm not in shape or it would be a fun ride.

Rumor has it that this years Jingle Cross Rock may be the Cyclocross National Championships. It is only hearsay at this moment, but if it happens, it will be a riot. Can't wait to see what transcribes.

After Pharm today Evan, Erik and I are headed out on a little ride. Probably Sugar Bottom because Erik wants to stop by the boat house and get some sailing in. Wish I could sail. I'll have to learn sometime.

The plans for the Pac NW trip are coming along nicely. I've received word from Gentle Dental that we can visit one of their practices anytime. I just need to set up a time. I've yet to hear back from Willamette Dental, but we've got a little bit of time. Evan mentioned that he would find some dental offices to visit in Montana, so we should be set. Hopefully, I'll find a place to live for at least a few years when I'm out there!
