Evan and I left Bozeman today. It was nice stay and an awesome town. A lot of fun things to do. Everyone there seemed to be into the outdoors. We drove west out of town on I-90 and about 15 miles out of Butte we found some bike trails to ride on. The trail system was called Pipestone. It is a dry area that is pretty rocky. It is known for its early season riding because of the dry climate. There isn't as much snow early in the season. The trails are actually mostly used for dirt bikes and four wheelers. The motorized vehicles actually made the trails really nice. Awesome banked turns and an awesome decent to end the ride made it a really fun trail. That is a photo of me close to the top of the ride. The big rock in the background was called Squire Rock I'm pretty sure. We drove the rest of the way into Missoula this afternoon. We checked out a trail just outside of town. It was only about a 3.6 mile climb to the top. The ride got really steep towards the top of the climb. It was pretty rough, but totally worth the view once we got to the top.
The city in the background is part of Missoula. It's another college town in southwest Montana. It's a little more bigger than Bozeman. Over 50,000 people. It feels like a pretty big city though. There is a lot of growth going on in Bozeman and Missoula right now. There are a lot of new businesses/restaurants on the outskirts of town in both cities.

Tomorrow, we might try to head into the Rattlesnake Recreation Area to hit some trails. They are supposed to be the best in the area according to the people of Missoula. Might be a chance to see a black bear, which I guess is better than seeing a grizzly bear or the dreaded moose.
