Woke up in Missoula this morning and hung around the house for an hour or so. It rained a little bit last night and thought the rain would get better if we waited. The weather turned out great today. Everyone around here claims it is really hot. I think it feels pretty good. It might be close to 90 and there is a little humidity, but nothing like Iowa. Anyways, Evan and I went to the Rattlesnake National Recreation Area today to ride. We rode the Sawmill Gulch Trail. The common theme around Montana, and the west in general, is a long climb up to the top of a mountain and a sweet descent on the way back. Again, we were lucky to see some great views at the top:The ride down was a lot of fun. Tomorrow, we are headed to the same area. We are going to try the same place. There are two more trails (of many trails) that we will try. It is only about 5 minutes out of town. Pretty nice, huh? Tons of people in Missoula use the area to hike and bike. Later tonight, we may head out for some drinks with Evan's sister, Delanie, and a friend of hers. Should be a fun time.

Sounds like you're having an awesome time! Jane said she wished she were with you - so do I! I'm afraid we wouldn't be able to keep up though!

Had a flat on the truck last night. I'm off to change it and take it into Dennis. It's parked at a restaurant in N.L.
